Get Well

Happy Sunday to all!!
I was rather impressed this morning with my 17 year old son, Cody.. He came up and asked me.Mom, could you please make me a Get Well card for Grandma Lucy? Aww, how sweet I thought. Grandma Lucy is his Great Grandma and he is worrying about her.  I said I sure would!
This is what I came up with..

For the colors, I used Stampin Up Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise. I inked all edges with Tea Dye Distress ink and then sanded the edges. It is so hard to see the nice color combo since my camera is having an attitude lately.
I used my Perfect Paisley folder in the cuttlebug, first time I used it and its been in the package for awhile now. I was trying to show that I used Crystal Effects on the rain drops and the lil puddles. Then for the final touch, I added two eyelets to put some ribbon thru...

I would like to add this card to the following challenges..

Diggin' Tilda

I just think this Tilda stamp is so cute! I stamped her on Whisperin White and colored her using my Prismacolor colored pencils. Then I blended it with mineral spirits to make it a softer image. Then I cut her out , popped dotted her for dimension on a oval that I cut using my cricut and George and Basic shapes cart.   I made doodle marks around the oval to have it stand out more.

I have added a little twine bow on the bottom and used little pink pearls around the edges for some bling.  Then I added stickles to her hair piece for some glimmer.
I would like to enter my Tilda card into the following challenges..

I did it!!
I entered my very first challenge on Exploring Cricut
The challenge was "Disney Dreaming"-- using any Disney carts. I had a white gift bag and it was too plain so I painted it with lavender acrylic paint.
I  Used Pooh and Friends to make this cute Eeyore bag with matching tag..
I cut Eeyore at 5 inches..  For the Happy Birthday I used Pooh Font.
I just think this set is so cute and I love Eeyore!!

I crinkled my pattern paper up and then sanded the top..to put a lil something to it..
I inked the edges of the bag.. I used my Stampin Up pastels to go around all the lil pieces of Eeyore before putting together to add some depth to him.. Then I added stickles to Eeyore's eyes, bow on tail and to the cute flower I made on top.
For the tag, I pop dotted Eeyore..
I just think he is so adorable!!

I also used the Stampin up pastels on the
Happy Birthday so you could see the
wood markings in the letters.

Another Wreath

This is another paper wreath that I made, using all greens.
I used my green inks from Stampin Up.. I love their INKS!!
I think it turned out pretty!!
I was worried how all green would look..
What do you think?

Baby Boy album with Matching Can

I know these are older pictures but I haven't finished anything new since the wreath. talk about that wreath..lol.. Last night I posted a picture of it on facebook and boom I had someone ask for me to make them one in greens and whites.. I was tickled pink..))
But this boy set I made back in April for my cousin. It was her second baby so she didn't have a baby shower but who don't like gifts for the new little one.  So I made her this mini album that fit into the  altered paint can. I used alot of cricut on here, some of the lil animals I stamped, colored and cut out.  I added googley eyes to them all..  I used the New Arrival cart.. That has always been my favorite when creating for kids.. I love the animals! I had such a hard time due to the fact this was my first mini album for a Boy.  Girls are so much easier because you can never over do it with the lace, flowers, you know all the cute girly stuff. I was trying to make this one not too cutsie!! I must of done ok because my cousin really liked them both!!
